KLV or Key Length Value is a data encoding standard that is commonly used to embed information in video feeds.

By enabling KLV Metadata, you will be able to stream the following data points to the ground for further use:

  • Platform Orientation
  • Sensor Orientation and Configuration
  • Video Frame Latitude/Longtitude/Elevation
  • Slant Range to Target
  • and more...

The KLV data is synchornized to the frame of video according to standards as approved by the Motion Imagery Standards Board (MISB).

If you are not sure if your application requires KLV Metadata, one of our engineers will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
