Seabird Aviation Australia has partnered with UAV Vision over the past few months to integrate the UAV Vision EO/IR surveillance system into the Seeker aircraft. Numerous flight tests have been conducted in late 2010 and early 2011 to demonstrate this cost effective surveillance system. The system includes UAV Vision's multi-sensor, gyro stabilised CM160 camera gimbal; onboard hardware modules to allow geo-referencing; a ruggedized operator control station including software; and by utilising UAV Vision’s Cloud Technology, the ability to relay both live video streams (daylight and IR) plus operator map markings and interaction anywhere in the world.

Typical applications for the system include: geographical mapping and surveillance; fire monitoring; shark patrol; border security; tactical surveillance; law enforcement; environmental monitoring; power-line, pipe-line and other infrastructure inspection, to name a few.
