UAV Vision has a multi-disciplinary work force that allows all aspects of production to occur in-house, to continue to be able to offer customers the great low cost without sacrificing quality.  This skill depth allows UAV Vision to be flexible in suiting the products to the exact customer requirements - whether it be a custom sensor integration into a camera gimbal, or modification of a standard hardware module enclosure - UAV Vision will meet your needs.

CEO, Mr Michael Bailey, has had a vast array of experience relating to the unmanned systems and camera gimbal / filming industry.  Originally from the UK, Mr Bailey worked for over 5 years at Hovercam Ltd UK as a project design and development engineer.  In this role Mr Bailey was responsible for the design of a number of new technologies for advanced machines as well as gaining valuable experience as a professional camera operator and helicopter pilot.  Following this, Mr Bailey formed his own company, specialising in the manufacture of turbine engines & gearboxes, UAV helicopters and film camera gimbals.  This background provided Mr Bailey the necessary skills to transition in to the setup of a new Australian company - UAV Vision, specialising in the development of high quality camera gimbal payloads for manned and unmanned platforms.

Marketing and Sales Director, Dr Daniel Fitzgerald, completed a bachelor of Aerospace Avionics Engineering and a PhD from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.  His work and tertiary studies have specialised in UAV technology, in particular in avionics, control, neural networks and computer vision for real UAV applications.  Prior work engagements have included research and project management roles at the Australian Research Centre for Aerospace Automation (ARCAA), a Research Scientist role with Aerial Robotics group within the CSIRO Autonomous Systems Laboratory and the formation and management of the avionics research and development department, for an Australian UAV manufacturer, Cyber Technology.  Finally, Dr Fitzgerald has partnered with UAV Vision over many years to develop camera gimbal technology for manned and unmanned vehicles and is now permanently based with the company.
