Overview

The UAV Vision CM380 is a large 3 axis stabilised camera gimbal that is designed for use on platforms that require the ability to carry a large specialised payload that the UAV Vision smaller gimbals cannot carry. This gimbal does not come fitted with any standard cameras to allow the user to install whichever sensor they require for their application. The CM380 includes high quality slip-rings to route a large number of power and signals in and out of the gimbal suitable for all specialised payloads.

Typical examples of applications for the CM380 have been for inspections tasks, for example power line inspections from full sized helicopters using Coro cameras.

The CM380 gyro gimbal is ideal for small film and multi-spectum cameras mounted on various platforms ranging from miniature RC helicopters to full sized helictopers.

Specifications

At only 4.5 kg, the CM380 is a light weight, large gyro stabilised camera gimbal. The gimbal is flexible, in that the user is able to mount any sensor that fits, which allows the CM380 to provide a solution to a range of applications.

The size of the gimbal ball is 380mm (W430 x H463 x D380) and access to the payload ball is fast an easy from the front and rear covers.

The user defines the payload for the gimbal and has access to a large number of military grade slip ring channels and a max payload weight of 5 kg.

The payload options for the CM380 are vast. Any film, muli-spectrum camera or other sensor that weighs less than the max payload capability of 5kg is an option for this gimbal.
