UAV Vision are happy to provide a Free Gimbal demonstration software, this software is provided with every Gimbal and will operate a number of selected features on the GD170, the VD170 and the CM160 Multi Sensor Gimbal.

These features include:

Mouse operated

Slider control Pan Velocity

Slider control Tilt Velocity

Start/Stop Angle output

Gimbal Gyro Stabilise On/Off

Video Select, Daylight to IR cameras, (Video 1 is switchable from two video sources within the Gimbal)

Video LUT which is the IR camera colour control, switchable between:

White hot

Black Hot

Fusion

Rain

The last two boxes on the bottom left of the screen enable you to set a Pan/Tilt velocity via the numeric Keypad, the Pan will continue this velocity until such time as you demand a contra because of the continuous pan sliprings, the tilt however will obviously stop when it reaches it's end stop.

Finally for demonstration purposes only we have added a joystick input which will control the Pan and Tilt Velocities, Start/Stop Gimbal Angles, Video Select, Video LUT and Gyro Stabilise ON/OF.  The supported Joystick is the Logitech Dual Action Playstation like hand control, as illustrated below:

The joystick addon is standard in the full Control interface and controls far more features.

Limitations of use:

The joystick addon will only be active for 10 Minutes of operation per program openning and is limited to 100 times.
